I had a flash of my Mecca experience this morning and I am sharing maybe someone might need it.
I saw so many amazing things, life in general became a movie to me and to worship Allah in respective of any situation made a whole lot of sense.
I only spent two weeks but I got attached to everything I saw and I didn't want to leave.
On my last day I was literally crying and waving at the kaabah.
One of the most amazing act I saw was pple with disabilities that I have never seen before read Quran, offer salat and even tawaf with the whole crowd.
Am not talkin bout wheel chair or crutches, I saw those too but I mean pple who crawl with their butt, hands, kneels, and the blind.
Salat is bn offered anywhere;road side, the mall n even hotel lobby.
It made me realize better that all we came to do in this world is to "worship"
Every time wudu is on so anywhere you find yourself, the moment you hear the call to prayer you and every one around create a congregation and follow the the voice of the Imam from the haram. There's speaker everywhere.
It was amazing that I went to different places and I didn't have to worry about salat cause I was completely dressed and I only needed to take my prayer mat with me and renew my wudu Incase I spoil it.
I saw couples sit next to each other infront of kahaba reading the Quran; that goal.
I saw people caring for their mothers like a Queen that I didn't even know when I became nicer to my mum and every time we had to go out I keep her hands under my armpit and she will say "omo mi".
Every time I hear omo mi was a reminder for me to be nicer cause clearly mere holding her was making her happy. She began to cross my mind ever time I open the Quran and I still find myself calling her phone every time I read the Quran.
I saw many more but If you still the type that's leaving home in clothes you can't use to offer salat, that's not good.
If you still have legs, hands n even eyes and ur not reading Quran daily/praying 5 times daily, that's not good.
If you're married and urself and ur spouse are not worshiping Allah together, that's not good.
If you not respectful to your mum, that's not good.
It's not good if you're not trying harder
So I think as a Muslim being who's seeking paradise,We should always remember everytime we shop or make clothes that if the clothes are not good enough to offer worship to He who provided us the money we are spending on those clothes,we shouldn't own those clothes.
I think we should leave home everyday with decent clothes we can use for salat.Dressing for salat doesn't mean not looking good still, it means wearing clothes to conceal the body.
I think we should own applications on our phones that will call the adhan and provide us with Qibla direction so that when we go out , we don't have to wait till we get home to offer salat.
I think we should leave home everyday with wudu and renew wudu everytime we spoil it. Having wudu is something to remind us to watch the thing we say, watch, hear and even think. It will also make observe constant dhikr of Allah.
I think everyone should have a prayer mat in their car or their handbags; they sell very tiny ones that can fit into our cute handbags.
I think we should have our Quran with us at all time, so we can even read during the day as we continue with our activities. If we check the internet every chance we get,we should be able to open Quran anytime. They sell every size of Quran that can fit into whatever bag we carry.
One of the lessons from Prophet Muhammad SAW was that he was always in the mood for worship and when we say someone is our leader means we want to follow whatever the person is doing or has done.
Above all, Quran 24:51 "The response of the believers when they are called to Allah and His messenger in order that he may judge between them is only WE HEAR AND WE OBEY" it is they who will prosper"
Let's begin do things that will make us be in the mood to obey when we hear. Even in the airplane ✈️ we still have to obey while sitting.
Sallam Alaikum
